Directorʼs Message

Hello, I am Dr. Wei Aixinjueluo, Director of Aishinkakura Clinic.

Throughout my career as an ophthalmologist, I have devoted myself to a wide range of ocular diseases and surgical procedures, guided by the belief that “the quality of oneʼs vision shapes the quality of oneʼs life.”
My mission has always been to support each patientʼs life journey by integrating both visual function and aesthetic harmony around the eyes.

After graduating from the Nagoya University School of Medicine in 2007, I completed a two-year residency at the University of Tokyo Hospital and subsequently joined the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Tokyo in 2009. There, I continued to refine my skills in outpatient care and microscopic ocular surgery. In 2013, I became a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist (JOS), and during my graduate studies, I conducted both clinical and basic research on corneal diseases, completing my Doctorate in Medicine (Surgery) in 2017.

From 2018 to 2026, I served as the Director of Eye Clinic Ooimachi. It was an honor to care for patients not only from the local community but also from across Japan, and to contribute to protecting their lifelong visual health.

In the fields of eyelid surgery and aesthetic oculoplastic procedures—including ptosis repair—I place the utmost importance on anatomical precision and surgical accuracy. My commitment to achieving results that are both naturally beautiful and functionally sound has earned the trust of many patients.
At the same time, I have extensive expertise in general ophthalmology, including glaucoma, cataracts, dry eye disease, blepharospasm, age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and uveitis, and I am certified as a Designated Intractable Disease Physician.
Drawing on my experience in university and tertiary hospitals, I value above all the principles of accurate diagnosis and honest, evidence-based treatment.

This year, I opened Aishinkakura Clinic in the highly accessible Tokyo Station‒Nihombashi area. Designed as a next-generation medical facility that integrates Ophthalmology, Aesthetic Surgery, and Aesthetic Dermatology, the clinic represents a new concept—a place where both visual health and facial beauty are cared for together.

As aesthetic medicine becomes increasingly widespread, I believe it is more important than ever to uphold two essential pillars: scientific safety based on medical evidence, and warm, compassionate care that truly supports each patient.

My clinical philosophy is built on three core principles:

  • To communicate accurate medical information in a clear and accessible way
  • To create an environment where patients feel safe entrusting their care
  • To pursue results that enhance each personʼs natural beauty with precision and artistry

I remain committed to continuing my lifelong pursuit of medical excellence, standing beside every patient as a partner in protecting both their future vision and their confidence in living beautifully.
